Christopher has experience with all aspects of employment law.

  • Preparing employment documents for employers, including contracts, handbooks, policies & procedures, non-disclosure agreements
  • Counseling employers regarding compliance with all applicable statutory/regulatory requirements, including wage & hour issues, exempt status of employees, employee vs. independent contractor status, overtime/holiday pay issues, obligations upon termination of employee
  • Resolving disputes with departing employees without the need to initiate litigation, including stipulated injunction regarding protection of trade secrets/confidential information and settlement of claims for wages owed
  • Representing employers in litigation, including a jury trial against former employees and competitors regarding trade secrets, confidential information, and breach of fiduciary duty, and resolution of a threatened lawsuit for sexual harassment, retaliation without the payment of any money to departed employees

While Christopher has extensive experience litigating employment matters, he prefers to counsel and work with employers before a lawsuit is filed to avoid such claims by employees.
