Christopher has experience with all aspects of employment litigation.
- Representing employers in litigation, including a jury trial against former employees and competitors regarding trade secrets, confidential information, and breach of fiduciary duty, and resolution of a threatened lawsuit for sexual harassment, retaliation without the payment of any money to departed employees.
- Vigorously advocating for employers when employees quit and attempt to use the employer’s confidential information/trade secrets to unlawfully compete and/or employees who began to compete while still employed. This includes, but is not limited to, claims for breach of employment agreements, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duty, and unfair competition.
- Resolving disputes with departing employees, including the negotiations of severance agreements.
- Representing executives in negotiating the terms of a severance agreement, which may include a buy-out of equity interest/options and negotiating a non-disparagement provision.
