Christopher’s entire career has been spent representing parties in litigation and other disputes. Christopher understands the need to establish a viable budget and always consider the most economical resolution of the matter. Sometimes, this may mean resolving the matter without filing a lawsuit. However, when appropriate and the client agrees on the course of action, Christopher aggressively litigates matters to achieve the best possible result for his client.
Christopher’s experience includes the following types of matters:
- Commercial/business disputes, including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and other corporate issues
- Business Divorces/Partnership Disputes, including disputes between partners/shareholders such as the use of company funds, the work performed/contributed by each partner, mis-management of company operations, and breaches of fiduciary duty; the dissolution of partnerships; the terms, enforceability of partnership/shareholder agreements
- Trade secrets/unfair business practices, including lawsuits filed against former employees and competitors
- Merger/acquisition disputes, including alleged misrepresentations of the value of assets obtained, liabilities assumed, breaches of representations & warranties, breach of terms of asset purchase agreements
- Employment Litigation, including claims against departing employees for breach of fiduciary duty/theft of trade secrets and negotiating severance/settlement agreements for departing employees (including buy-out of shares/equity interest)
