Meet Christopher Walters
Christopher Walters is a lifelong California resident. He was born and raised in Orange County. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with undergraduate degrees in Integrative Biology and Religious Studies in 1996. He then obtained his law degree from the University of Southern California Law School in 1999, where he was on the Southern California Law Review staff and graduated in the top 15% of his class.
Christopher began his career with Ross, Dixon & Bell in San Diego in 2000. Ross, Dixon & Bell later merged with the international law firm of Troutman Sanders which is now Troutman Pepper. Christopher was a partner at both Ross, Dixon & Bell and Troutman Sanders. After Christopher left Troutman Sanders, he worked at the law firms of Robbins Umeda (now Robbins Arroyo) and Mazzarella Law Group. After being a lawyer for almost 15 years, Christopher decided to start Walters Law Group.
Walters Law Group offers the same, top-notch services offered by large, international law firms but in a smaller, more personal atmosphere. Christopher utilizes the skills and experience he obtained at the “big law” firms for his clients at Walters Law Group and is able to do so at “small firm” rates. Christopher also has the flexibility to work with clients regarding efficient, affordable rates and payment arrangements.
Christopher lives in East County San Diego with his wife Laura and his three daughters. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Toward Maximum Independence. He previously served on the Board of the East County Family YMCA and the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading and camping.
